This new face of dread comes from the brains of horror’s most prolific creators, director James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) and producer Blumhouse (Halloween, The Black Phone, The Invisible Man).
M3GAN is a technological marvel, a lifelike doll equipped to be both a child’s best friend and a parent’s best ally. Gemma (Allison Williams, Get Out) is a talented roboticist at a toy manufacturer, and she designed M3GAN so that she can learn from the child she bonds with and become a companion, teacher, playmate, and protector.

Gemma is thrown into the role of parenthood with little to no preparation when she takes in her orphaned niece Cady (Violet McGraw, The Haunting of Hill House), who is eight years old. Due to mounting job pressure, Gemma teams up her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an effort to handle both issues at once, with shocking results.
M3GAN is directed by award-winning filmmaker Gerard Johnstone (Housebound) and written by Akela Cooper (Malignant, The Nun 2) from a narrative by Akela Cooper and James Wan. The film is produced by Jason Blum and James Wan.
Lori Dungey (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, extended edition), Ronny Chieng (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), Brian Jordan Alvarez (Will & Grace), Jen Van Epps (Cowboy Bebop), and Stephane Garneau-Monten also star (Straight Forward).
