Ajay Devgn and Tabu shed tears during the unveiling of the Drishyam 2 teaser as they reflected on the loss of Nishikant Kamat, the film’s director.
2 out of 5 stars for Drishyam During the Goa trailer launch for their follow-up film, Ajay Devgn and Tabu paid tribute to the late director Nishikant Kamat of the first Drishyam.
When discussing the late Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat at the film’s press conference following the release of the teaser, both Ajay Devgn and Tabu became upset. Ajay Devgn remarked, “I want to just take this time to honor Nishi, who directed the first portion.” “We couldn’t have done it without him.”
When asked about the first part of the trip, Tabu responded, “I want to remember Nishi and how easy he made the whole experience.” Ajay replied, “No matter how much I say about Nishi, it won’t be enough,” when questioned about Nishikant’s legacy. He was a beloved member of our group and his absence is felt daily. We’d all be thrilled if he were here. Yet, the performance must go on.
Nishikant, who was 50 years old when he died in August 2020, had cirrhosis. He directed the first film in the series before he passed away. Abhishek Pathak succeeded him as the film’s director.
Presented by Viacom18 Studios Drishyam 2 is a film directed by Gulshan Kumar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar, and it is distributed by T-Series and Panorama Studios. Rockstar DSP composed the original music for the game (Devi Sri Prasad). The second installment of the Drishyam franchise, directed by Abhishek Pathak, will hit theatres on November 18, 2022.
