Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom Release Date, Storyline, Cast, and Trailer
The plot is a mystery. The sequel to the film “Aquaman” was released in 2018. Changes to the DCU could prevent Ben Affleck’s Batman from appearing in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Affleck may not have to permanently step away from acting, though. He might step down from his role as Batman in the DCU and become an informal mentor to other heroes. We might see something like that in the Aquaman film. Yet, the upcoming The Brave and the Bold film will introduce a new Batman to the DC Universe, so the chances of this trend sticking are low. We know Affleck won’t be returning as Batman, but what about every other actor who has played the role in the past?
