Baldur’s Gate 3 ‘Big’ Third Patch You Can Alter Your Appearance Now

Larian Studios is the company that is responsible for developing and publishing the role-playing video game known as Baldur’s Gate 3. It is the third main game in the Baldur’s Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. This system has been used in previous games in the Baldur’s Gate series.

The ‘Big’ Third Patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 Finally Allows You to Change Your Appearance You will be able to change features of your appearance such as your hair and cosmetics thanks to the long-requested feature, but you will not be able to change your race or your body type.

The big third patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 is almost ready to be released, and it will at long last give gamers the ability to customize the appearance of their in-game avatar. Fans have been begging for this function ever since the game was released, and it is finally going to be made available to them later tonight, September 22, along with improvements to the game’s performance that address the problems caused by the large number of players in Act 3. The game will add a Magic Mirror to our camp once the update is available. The Magic Mirror is a stationary gadget that may be interacted with to presumably open up a limited version of the creation menu. Patch 3 was supposed to be released on Thursday, but the developer, Larian Studios, chose to spend one extra day for ‘thorough testing.’

The Magic Mirror won’t let you completely transform your Tav, meaning you can’t change their race or physical type. This makes logical when you consider how much changing one’s appearance might impact one’s relationships with other NPCs and how they interact with the environment in general. Having said that, you are free to alter anything about your look, including your hair, makeup, voice, and the pronouns you use, whenever you like. Previously, once you started your trip through Baldur’s Gate 3, there was no way to change your appearance from the default one that you had selected at the beginning of the game. This also implies that if you created a short character, you will continue to be a short character until the game is over, or until a new run is begun, whichever comes first. It is pleasant to note that using the mirror does not appear to necessitate the transaction of any particular sort of payment on your part.

Larian continued by saying that Origin figures such as Karlach, Shadowheart, Gael, and others of their ilk cannot be changed in any way. The tweet makes a facetious joke about Astarion the vampire offspring by stating, “…they’re all very particular about their hair.” It is anticipated that Mac support for Baldur’s Gate 3 will be included in Patch #3. It has been available through early access up until this point, but this version is missing a significant amount of content and modifications that were included in the main or final build that was published for PC in August. In the meantime, Larian has been working on addressing several quest-related issues, notably those pertaining to the evil drow Minthara, whose more than 1,500 lines of conversation were disabled owing to a malfunction. The crew also introduced an alternative ending to the story arc of the happy Tiefling Karlach, and there are also plans to expand the ending at some point in the future.

Larian enabled cross-saves across platforms when the PS5 version was released earlier this month. This allowed players to carry over their progression from PC to console and vice versa. However, players’ most recent five save files were the only ones that were synchronized across platforms. It’s safe to presume that the Mac version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will receive the same treatment as its PC counterpart. There are also plans for cross-play, which should make it possible for players on different systems to participate in online co-op adventures together. These plans are now in the works.
